ATV’s – what you need to know

An ATV or all-terrain vehicle is a general term to describe a quad bike, three-wheeler or four-wheeler. The ATV uses low pressure tyres giving excellent levels of grip in demanding terrain environments. ATV’s are sometimes street legal but this depends on the type and also where you’re located in the world.

Most ATV’s are mostly designed for single riders but there are some two seater ATV’s now available for a driver and passenger. These are called tandem all-terrain vehicles.
